BETWEEN THE AGRICULTURAL/AGRITOURISM COMPANY VILLA VITTORIA AND THE OPPIDO MAMERTINA SCHOOL (RC)

We are scheduling a visit/activity on May 17 and/or 24, 2024 with the following objectives:

  • Educating young people on healthy eating and conscious consumption by understanding the relationships between production techniques, product quality, health protection, and environmental preservation.
  • Promoting learning through hands-on laboratory activities.
  • Stimulating curiosity and the desire for knowledge as intrinsic motivation for learning.
  • Capturing participants’ interest through playful or game-like activities.
  • Encouraging knowledge of the world through direct experience of reality.
  • Presenting a multidisciplinary educational path that goes beyond the traditional subject-based segmentation of knowledge in conventional teaching methods.
  • Educating the use of senses through exploration of nature.
  • Increasing awareness of low environmental impact agriculture and the protection of the environment by promoting eco-friendly and sustainable behaviors.
  • Highlighting the city-countryside relationship, bringing the consumer closer to the cultural, historical, environmental, and productive values of rural life.
  • Promoting the knowledge of local history and traditions related to seasonal cycles.
  • Introducing participants to typical local products.
  • Understanding the importance of biodiversity.
  • Supporting and spreading awareness of social farming activities through the use of information and communication technologies.
  • Utilizing information and communication technologies to facilitate access to the services offered.
  • Promoting the use of shared goods and spaces.
  • Initiating educational activities involving local youth and disadvantaged individuals.
