A lesson is scheduled for April 18, 2024 at the I.P.P.S.S.E.O.A. Institute of Soverato with the aim of:

  • Educating young people on healthy eating and conscious consumption through understanding the relationships between production techniques, production quality, health protection, and environmental conservation;
  • Promoting learning through laboratory methods;
  • Stimulating curiosity and the intrinsic desire for knowledge as a motivation for learning;
  • Capturing participants’ interest through playful or game-like activities;
  • Promoting world knowledge through direct experience with reality;
  • Presenting a multidisciplinary educational path that goes beyond the traditional segmented approach to knowledge in education;
  • Educating the use of the senses through nature exploration;
  • Raising awareness of low-impact agriculture and environmental conservation, promoting eco-friendly and sustainable behaviors;
  • Enhancing the relationship between city and countryside, bringing consumers closer to the cultural, historical, environmental, and productive values of rural life;
  • Encouraging knowledge of local history and traditions tied to seasonal cycles;
  • Introducing typical local productions;
  • Understanding the importance of biodiversity;
  • Supporting and spreading knowledge of social farming activities through information and communication technologies;
  • Using information and communication technologies to facilitate the access to offered services;
  • Promoting the use of shared resources and spaces.
  • Starting educational activities involving local youth and disadvantaged individuals.
